Willian: You need to fight until the very end in Premier League

Chelsea winger Willian shared his impressions about the match of the Premier League’s 19th round against Watford, where the Blues won with the score of 2:1.

According to the 30-year-old Brazilian, Maurizio Sarri’s team can no longer allow mistakes.

Willian said it was a tough match. His team was able to win in the end thanks to Eden Hazard’s incredible play. Nevertheless, there are no simple matches in the Premier League. A team can dominate in a match with the overwhelming ball possession and create chances, but this doesn’t guarantee a victory. Even with total domination, any team can surprise its rival at the end of a match and steal points.

The winger believed that he wasn’t lucky at the moment when he went 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper and struck into the post. Nevertheless, the game was under Chelsea’s complete control. The team managed to score a goal but Watford equalized immediately. Chelsea had to try hard to pull out the victory in the second half. Willian was unlucky again – he struck the post twice.

The Brazilian believes that his team can no longer afford mistakes. Losing points isn’t allowed if they want to get into the Champions League zone this season.
