Willian and David Luiz successfully run an expensive restaurant in central London
Willian and David Luiz have long been performing in England. Footballers have become so settled in Britain that they decided to develop business here.
This month marks the year of their joint project, Babbo Restaurant.
Quite unexpectedly, the restaurant indulges guests with Italian, not Brazilian cuisine, as one might think.
The first thing you need to know about the restaurant is that it was initially positioned as an institution for people with high incomes who want a luxurious rest.
Parking in front of Babbo is filled with Ferrari and Rolls-Royce, sometimes even with personal drivers.
The restaurant meets visitors with spectacular drawings on the walls, neon lighting and DJ console.
Waitresses who could work as models spread pasta, steaks and redfish – a classic set for an Italian restaurant.
Naturally, any dish – from the most delicate lamb to tiramisu for dessert – is cooked at the highest level.
In Babbo, you can always meet a celebrity. Kygo and Nail Horan (former One Direction vocalist), F1 driver Max Verstappen, the best Italian managers, Carlo Ancelotti and Massimiliano Allegri, as well as many players from the Premier League and other leagues – this is just a short list of restaurant visitors.
