West Ham will have to spend the season’s hardest period without their leader Marko Arnautovic.

The Irons’ forward Marko Arnautovic injured his hamstring in the first half of the home match against Cardiff (3:1).

The Austrian thanked the fans for their words of support on his Instagram and promised to return stronger even though he flew out for a long time.

The London club isn’t telling the exact dates of the player’s recovery, but it is expected that the 29-year-old Austrian won’t help the Hammers in this calendar year and miss the busy holiday period and the Boxing Day.

Arnautovic played 13 matches in the Premier League’s current season for West Ham, in which he scored five goals and gave two assists.
