Borussia Dortmund football player could have played for the London club.

Former Arsenal head coach Arsen Wenger said that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jadon Sancho, while being a player of Manchester City, could join the Gunners.

“I wanted to sign him from Manchester City when he didn’t get match practice. I tried to lure Sancho because he was from London. I tried to buy him for Arsenal,” the Gunners ex-manager began.

“He is one of the best players of his generation. There is something in him that is part of great players. You can call it confidence, faith, arrogance, but it must be in Sancho.”

Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Jadon Sancho fell into the sphere of interests of a number of leading European clubs, Marca reports.

According to the publication, Barcelona are ready to join the fight for the 18-year-old English footballer. Earlier, the Catalan club showed interest in the player and monitored Sancho’s performances.

In addition to Barcelona, Bayern Munich are interested in the midfielder’s services and intend to acquire the player in the summer transfer window.
