At Santiago Bernabeu, Barcelona scored three unanswered goals against Real Madrid and reached the Copa del Rey final.

The Catalan head coach Ernesto Valverde held his 100th official duel at the helm of Barça.

The Spaniard managed to achieve 68 wins, also 23 fights were reduced in a draw. Ernesto lost only 9 matches. Goal difference – 241:80 (+161).

Remarkably, Valverde held his first match at the head of the Blaugrana against Real Madrid. On August 13, 2017, at the Camp Nou Stadium, Barcelona lost to the Royal Club in the first-leg match of the Spanish Super Cup final  (in the second leg, Real also won – 2:0).

During the time spent as Barcelona’s head coach, Valverde won one LaLiga title, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
