Valencia intend to keep Denis Cheryshev, Marca reported.

According to the source, the Bats will pay Villarreal 7 million euros for the 28-year-old Russian, who is spending this season at Mestalla Stadium on loan.

This season, Cheryshev managed to score two goals and give two assists in 18 matches of the Primera.

The Russian has spent his entire career in Spain, playing for Real Madrid, Sevilla, Villarreal and Valencia.

Valencia are in 9th place of the LaLiga standings now. On the other hand, the Bats continue to play in the UEFA Europa League: a few days ago they beat Celtic in the Round of 32 first leg (0:2).

Denis scored one of two goals of his team.
