Valencia are interested in West Ham’s Mexican forward Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, Super Deporte reposts.

According to the source, the Spanish club intends to strengthen the attacking line in the winter transfer window, and Hernandez is one of the priority options. Forward is ready to return to Spain, where he previously played for Real Madrid.

However, to loan Hernandez, first, Valencia must agree on the early termination of Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi’s loan, since the club won’t be able to pay salaries to both forwards simultaneously.

30-year-old Hernandez moved to West Ham United from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2017. The transfer amount was €17.8 million. He has played 14 matches in the Premier League’s current season and scored four goals.
