Valencia receive United to say goodbye to UCL beautifully

Valencia will meet with Manchester United in the 6th round of the Champions League group stage in Group H at the Mestalla stadium tonight.

The Red Devils definitely won’t lose their 2nd place already, but the team still has a chance to qualify from first line. For this, United need to beat Valencia at Mestalla and hope that in the parallel match Juventus won’t be able to beat Young Boys in Switzerland. Note that Manchester United will be higher even on equal points with the Italians since the British are ahead of Juve thanks to face-to-face meetings.

Valencia have no tournament motivation – the team will remain 3rd in any case and qualify to the Europa League. The Bats were predicted to fight with Juventus and Man United for a place in the playoffs, but Marcelino’s team failed the start of the season both in Europe and in LaLiga. The home match against Manchester United is no more than a chance to beautifully say goodbye to the Champions League.

Possible line-ups:

Valencia: Neto — Piccini, Garay, Diakhaby, Lato — Soler, Parejo, Kondogbia, Cheryshev — Mina, Rodrigo

Manchester United: De Gea — Dalot, Rojo, Jones, Young — Fellaini, Matic, Fred — Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford

Referee: Georgy Kabakov
