Manchester United are preparing to strengthen their squad during the winter.

On the eve, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced United’s mentor Jose Mourinho.

According to Mirror, the leadership of Manchester is ready to allocate about 50 million euros for winter transfers.

Mourinho messed with the club’s management several times that it did not buy him a defender in the current season.

As the source told, the Red Devils are interested in buying Tottenham’s defender Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian can go to United for 30 million euros, since his contract will end next summer.

45-year-old Solskjaer became a new manager of the first team until the end of the season.

United’s legend worked at the Norwegian club, FC Molde, and only this month signed a new contract until December 2021.
