Manchester United are going to renew their interest in Leicester City’s central defender, Harry Maguire, at the end of the season.

It was authentically known that the Red Devils were interested in Maguire last summer, but after Harry’s bright performance for the England national team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the price for him jumped sharply.

Last summer, United’s Executive Director, Ed Woodward, decided not to spend money on strengthening the center of defense, which he regretted later. Despite significant progress under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Devils remain the most conceeding team in the Premier League Top-7.

It is expected that United will return to solving this problem at the end of the season and, finally, buy a top-level defender. The British media had been actively connecting Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld, Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and Inter Milan Skriniar with the club from Old Trafford, but the Daily Star informed in their exclusive material that Maguire remained Devils’ main goal.

United are going to lure the 26-year-old Englishman by doubling his current salary to 140,000 pounds a week. Leicester may receive about 65 million pounds from the Devils as compensation for Harry.
