United still count on Bailly

Manchester United assured defender Eric Bailly that he had a future at Old Trafford.

As it is known, Bailly didn’t have Jose Mourinho’s trust in the first half of the season. However, Eric’s situation has not improved at all after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival.

The 24-year-old Ivorian has just one appearance in the Red Devils’ starting line-up in the Premier League after his red card against Bournemouth last month.

It would seem that such a situation could bring the former Villarreal defender to the thought of changing the club.

Arsenal and PSG were interested in Eric during January’s transfer window, but United decided to act proactively and assured Bailly that he had a place in Solskjaer’s plans.

According to The Sun’s exclusive material, Solskjaer is going to bet on Bailly with Victor-Lindelof as a pair of centre-backs in the first leg of the Champions League ⅛ finals against PSG next Tuesday.
