Manchester United are already in full negotiations with striker Marcus Rashford about a new contract.

21-year-old Rashford has established himself as the Red Devils’ main attacker after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joined the club, scoring six goals in his last 10 games.

United concluded a new deal with Anthony Martial only last Thursday, raising the Frenchman’s salary to about £200,000 a week. The Devils are hoping that Marcus will follow his example now.

Note that the England national team player’s current agreement expires at the end of next season, although it has a 12-months extension option.

According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils can double Rashford’s salary under the new contract – up to £150 thousand a week.

According to the publication, Rashford sees his long-term future at Old Trafford and is ready to ignore interest from some leading European clubs, including Real Madrid.
