Manchester United made a fresh and at the same time final proposal to midfielder Juan Mata about a new contract.

As it is known, the 31-year-old Spaniard’s current agreement expires in two months. Over the past weeks, British media has been actively connecting Mata with a move to Barcelona or Arsenal, but Juan doesn’t want to rush the decision about his future.

According to Manchester Evening News, Juan is relaxed about his situation and is going to carefully consider both United’s proposal and the proposals that he already has or that may appear on the side.

The Red Devils’ final offer is a one-year contract with the 12-months extension option. Also, United are ready to hire Mata to work as an ambassador when Juan will end his playing career.

At Old Trafford, they hope that the 31-year-old player will accept this offer. However, Mata made it clear before that he expected to get a contract for at least two years.
