United are showing interest in Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, reports Express.

According to the source, the Red Devils can pay for the goalkeeper more than 80 million euros. In this case, Pickford will be the most expensive keeper in history.

However, this transfer is possible only if the current first number, David de Gea, refuses to sign a new contract with the club.

Earlier it was reported that Manchester automatically extended the contract with the Spaniard until the summer of 2020, but cannot agree with him on the terms of a long-term agreement so far.

24-year-old Pickford moved to Everton in the summer of 2017 from Sunderland for 28.5 million. He has played 13 matches in the EPL and missed 15 goals this season.
