United bosses prefer Sancho rather than Coutinho

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho became one of Manchester United’s main transfer goals for the coming summer. It is unlikely to the Red Devils will ask Barcelona about Philippe Coutinho.

As it became known to the authoritative edition of The Independent, Coutinho’s representatives contacted with United recently. Philippe’s dream to shine at Barcelona has broken about the harsh reality.

Philippe has never shown the game equal to those £142 million for which Barcelona acquired him from Liverpool in January of last year. In such a situation, the Catalan club may put the Brazilian on transfer in the summer.

However, at Old Trafford they believe that the position in which Coutinho is playing isn’t the main priority for the club right now. It is much more important for the Devils to acquire Sancho, who plays on the flank.

It is reported that United are ready to spend more than £80 million on the 18-year-old player.
