United are close to buying Swansea’s Daniel James

Manchester United approached their first summer’s acquisition, almost agreeing on Swansea winger Daniel James transfer worth 15 million pounds.

James nearly left Swansea, where he has been playing since 2014, back in January. His £8.5 million transfer to Leeds broke down minutes before the deadline.

Some Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, were also interested in the 21-year-old winger, thanks to his excellent football for Swansea and the Wales national team.

However, at the moment, everything goes to the fact that Daniel will continue his career in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, Sky Sports reports. It will be a great success for Swansea to gain £15 million for their rising star because James’ contract expires in 12 months.

We add that James has played 33 matches in the Championship in the current season, scoring four goals and giving seven assists. Daniel scored his most famous goal in the FA Cup match against Brentford in February, performing a surging run in Ryan Giggs’ style, who was his coach in the national team.
