UEFA expects record revenue figures for the 2019/20 season. UEFA’s finance director Josef Koller announced that at the organization’s congress in Rome.

UEFA’s basis of the budget for the season 2019/2020 will be the European Championship, which will eventually increase the organization’s revenues. The officials plan that they will reach record 5 billion 725 million euros.

The overall income of the upcoming European Championship will exceed 2 billion, while it was 1.9 billion after Euro 2016.

In conclusion of the speech of the financial director, the organization’s congress unanimously approved the budget plan for the season 2019/20. Euro 2020 will be held in 12 European cities from June 12 to July 12.
