UEFA Europa League: Dynamo Kyiv vs Chelsea – preview, line-ups, prediction
Both teams before the personal meeting held matches in the national championships. And if the representative of England lost 2 points, then Dynamo played their match successfully.
After being destroyed in London, Dynamo won Arsenal (4:0) in the Kyiv derby in the 21st matchday of the Ukrainian Premier League.
Khatskevich’s team scored all their goals in the first half, and after that tried to play much calmer and more pragmatic, taking in mind the upcoming fight with Chelsea.
On the other hand, the guests failed to get a victory in the Premier League’s battle with Wolverhampton (1:1). Eden Hazard scored a goal few seconds before the end of the match and saved a draw for Sarri. It’s hard to say, whether Chelsea will fight for the Top-4, but I think it’ll be extremely hard.
However, don’t forget about the deference between both team and the Pensioners’ handicap this season.
So, Alyaksandr Khatskevich can’t count on Josip Pivarić, Fran Sol and Artem Besedin – all of them are recovering after damages. Benjamin Verbič is also out of action. Vitaliy Buyalskyi is disqualified.
Sarri won’t be able to use Gary Cahill, who didn’t go to Kyiv and Gonzalo Higuaín, who is ill.
