Trippier calls to stop underestimating Tottenham

Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier believes that it would be premature to strike out his team from the number of contenders for the Premier League title.

Pulled on themselves all the public’s attention, Liverpool and Manchester City allowed the Spurs to confidently go the distance without much pressure. Tottenham will be at a distance of just one victory from the Citizens and two – from the Reds if they beat Everton on Sunday.

Trippier is happy with how the season is shaping up for his team and urges not to write off Tottenham too early.

The defender is pleased that his team continues to fight on all fronts. That became possible due to the fact that they adjusted to win each game, only 3 points, that was the goal. Nevertheless, a large segment of the season is still ahead. Therefore, it is too early to give all the honours to Liverpool and Manchester City and forget about Tottenham.
