Tottenham are planning to get permission from UEFA and hold a potential Champions League quarter-final in their new arena, according to the Evening Standard.

However, this season, Spurs will hold home matches in the Premier League at Wembley.

After the last victory over Borussia Dortmund (3:0) at Wembley, Mauricio Pochettino’s wards became closer to the Champions League quarter-finals. The return match will be held in Dortmund on March 5.

Tottenham, February 7, announced the switch of the upcoming Premier League home match with Arsenal, which will take place on March 2.

Moreover, the opening of the 62,000-seat arena in the derby with Arsenal was initially unlikely because of high security risks.
