Tottenham identified Bournemouth’s rising star David Brooks as their transfer goal for the coming summer.

Brooks went to the Cherries for just 11.5 million pounds from Sheffield United last summer. Since then, the 21-year-old midfielder has scored six goals and given four assists.

According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United scouts regularly look at his game, but Tottenham hope to outrun their much more wealthy competitors in the fight for the talented player.

According to the publication, Spurs, coping without acquisitions in the last two transfer windows, may offer Bournemouth 50 million pounds for Brooks, and David, in turn, can regularly play and improve his game in Pochettino’s squad.
