Tottenham approached their first acquisition for a year and a half, intending to organize Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon transfer for 25 million pounds.

Recall that neither last summer nor in January, Spurs haven’t signed any newcomer. However, the Londoners’ head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has already threatened Daniel Levy in a series of public statements that this couldn’t go on.

Pochettino expects to receive strong support in the transfer market in the coming summer in order to provide his team with the much-needed reinforcement.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are already in full negotiations regarding Sessegnon. Spurs are confident in the talks success, despite PSG’s interest in the youngster.

At the moment, Fulham estimate their rising star at 40 million pounds, but the Cottagers relegation from the Premier League and Sessegnon’s desire to join Pochettino’s team allow Spurs to hope for a price reduction down to 25 million.

It is expected that two clubs will finally agree on the price in the coming days. Ryan has already told Fulham about his reluctance to return to the Championship. He sees Tottenham as an ideal place for his further development.
