The Saints intend to replenish their squad with Leipzig’s forward.

Leipzig striker Jean-Kevin Augustin fell into Southampton’s area of interests, the Daily Mail reported with reference to German Sport1.

It is alleged that the head coach of the Saints, Ralph Hazenhüttl, is personally interested in the 21-year-old Frenchman, who worked with the player, being the manager of the Bulls.

This season, Augustin has spent 28 fights for RB Leipzig in all tournaments, in which he managed to score eight goals.

According to the source, in addition to Southampton, Everton are also actively watching the footballer.

Recall, young Southampton striker Michael Obafemi will miss the rest of the Premier League season due to a hamstring injury.
