Son: Tottenham deserve a trophy

Tottenham striker Son Heung-min thinks his team deserves to win some trophy in this season.

The Spurs spent the first half of the season very worthy, despite the lack of acquisitions last summer. Tottenham are second in the Premier League and continue to fight in the Champions League and the League Cup.

According to Son, who scored 10 goals in the last 10 games, Tottenham is very close to their first trophy with Mauricio Pochettino, and that hasn’t happened so far only due to the lack of fortune.

Son believes that both the players and Pochettino have long deserved a serious trophy. Nevertheless, the team was very unlucky. People watch and say that these are the Spurs, they will never win anything serious. This fact upsets Son.

Football is full of surprises. No one expected 3 losses in the last 4 matches from Manchester City. That happened. The press and fans are talking about City and Liverpool only, but Tottenham are also in the race. No one pays attention to Pochettino’s team and this makes their position more profitable – the pressure from the champion race isn’t so great.

The season is very long and only half of it is behind. The team just needs to continue to score points in each game and then everyone will see what will happen in May.
