Solskjaer: Rashford is more capable than I was

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that striker Marcus Rashford is a more talented player than he was.

At the time, Solskjaer not only had a chance to score 206 goals for the club from Old Trafford but he also worked as a coach for such attackers as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

Naturally, fans often compare Rashford and the Norwegian, the representatives of two generations of United’s attack. Ole Gunnar considers Marcus a more capable player, but he still sees things that he can improve in the 21-year-old Englishman.

According to Solskjaer, Marcus has a much wide set of techniques and better speed. However, the Norwegian could help Rashford to play better inside the penalty box.

Marcus is only 21 years old. He is very talented, but sometimes he is lost at the moment when it is necessary to calm down. He hasn’t much experience and he is often in a hurry with a strike when he must wait for the right moment.
