Solskjær needs Axel Witsel at United

Dortmund’s midfielder Axel Witsel, who previously played for Zenit St. Petersburg, can pursue a career in the EPL, ESPN reports.

According to the source, Ole-Gunnar Solskjær is personally interested in the services of the 29-year-old Belgian performer.

Moreover, the former coach of the Red Devils, Jose Mourinho, looked at Witsel in the match of the 5th round of the League Nations group stage of the Belgium national team against Iceland (2:0).

The current contract of the midfielder with the Bumblebees is calculated until the summer of 2022.

Witsel moved to Borussia Dortmund from the Chinese club, Tianjin Quanjian, in August 2018. Axel has played 17 matches this season, in which he scored one goal and gave an assist.
