Sevilla’s striker is on Roma’s radar
AS Roma expressed interest in Sevilla’s forward Luis Muriel.
Roma plan to strengthen the line of attack in the winter transfer window and the Romans are interested in the attacker of Sevilla, Muriel.
Roma’s sports director, Monchi, met with the Wolves’ president James Pallotta and coach Luciano Spalletti to discuss the club’s transfer goals for winter. The club’s priority goal is an attacker, as Edin Dzeko missed several weeks due to injury, and Patrik Schick does not justify the club’s trust.
He played for Sampdoria, Lecce and Udinese in Italy previously. Sevilla acquired the player from Sampdoria for €21.6 million in summer 2017.
The 27-year-old attacker scored 43 goals and gave 33 assists in 165 Serie A matches.
Muriel has appeared on the field only six times in LaLiga’s current season, having scored one goal and given one assist.
