Sarri wants to keep Luiz and Fabregas at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said he wanted to renew contracts with defender David Luiz and midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

As you know, the contracts of both players expire at the end of this season, which means that next month David and Cesc will be able to negotiate freely with interested clubs from abroad.

However, the Blues have a policy on age-related players, so 31-year-old Luiz and Fabregas can only count on new 12-months deals. Sarri remains to hope that he won’t lose important players because of this.

The Italian specialist admitted that he had spoken to the club management about that last month. This isn’t an easy situation, but Maurizio hopes that it will be resolved in his favour of new contracts conclusion.

It is very difficult to find a defender of such a level as Luiz and it is also difficult to find such a technically gifted football player as Fabregas. Both players are important to Chelsea.
