Sarri: Kante has to improve his tactical skills
Chelsea’s head coach Maurizio Sarri praised midfielder Ngolo Kante, but added that he still had to add tactically.
Recall that Sarri harshly criticized Kante a week ago after the 3:1 defeat in the game against Tottenham. Maurizio made it clear that Ngolo wouldn’t return to the support-midfielder role and should learn to play in a more attacking zone.
Kante helped the Blues to beat Fulham with a score of 2:0 on Sunday, having created the first goal of the match. The Frenchman reformed in Sarri’s eyes, but Maurizio demanded more.
The Italian expert expressed the opinion that Ngolo defended well and was well connected to the attack. Nevertheless, he still needs to improve his tactical skills to become one of the best midfielders in modern football.
Jorginho is responsible for passing and moments creation in Sarri’s team, while Kante likes to destroy the rivals’ attacks. Nevertheless, Maurizio required that both players became more versatile.
