Sarri: I’m right about Kante

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is still convinced that he is doing the right thing with midfielder Ngolo Kante.

After his appointment at Stamford Bridge, Sarri moved Kante, who has earned a reputation as one of the world’s best defensive midfielders in recent years, into a more attacking position.

The recent 3:1 defeat against Tottenham might have raised doubts about whether Maurizio is doing the right thing with Ngolo, but the Italian expert does not even think about returning the Frenchman to his previous position.

Sarri said his team was sharpened to a certain style. If you have Fabregas and Jorginho in the line-up, you are obliged to play according to the 4-3-3 formation then.

All central midfielders are obliged to play very technically in this formation. And Cesc with Jorginho have the necessary skills.

With Sarri’s football, Kante should play higher. It may seem to be wrong, but if people understand Maurizio’s football, they will agree with him.
