Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri can replace Eusebio Di Francesco as Roma’s manager, Corriere dello Sport reports.

According to the source, the 60-year-old Italian specialist may leave Chelsea due to the deterioration of the London team’s results. Recall that Chelsea were in a tight struggle for the Premier League top spot at the beginning of the current season, but the results of the team declined later. Chelsea scored 47 points in 24 rounds and are in 5th place in the Premier League standings now, 14 points behind the leader of the competition – Liverpool.

Roma are interested in Sarri’s services. It is expected that the Romans’ current mentor, Eusebio Di Francesco, will be dismissed in the near future. On the eve, Roma were knocked out from the Italian Cup, losing to Fiorentina in the ¼-final match with a 1:7 score.

Sarri became Chelsea’s head coach in the summer of 2018. Previously, the Italian specialist led Napoli.
