Sanchez & Rojo bet for £20 thousand on Mourinho’s dismissal
After returning from Chile, Alexis Sanchez is waiting for a serious conversation with Manchester United leadership after it became known that the attacker had concluded a bet with his team-mate Marcos Rojo for £20,000 on Jose Mourinho’s dismissal.
Shortly before his dismissal from the Red Devils’ head coach post, Mourinho said that Sanchez had gone to restore health to his homeland with his permission. It is assumed that Alexis will return to the club after the holidays.
While being in Chile, Sanchez learned that Mourinho was sacked from United. That happened on the eve of the Premier League’s highest-paid footballer 30th Birthday.
A couple hours after Mourinho’s dismissal, Alexis sent a message on WhatsApp to his friend Marcos Rojo with the text that he won and the Mexican owed him £20 thousand now.
United management already knows about this betting, reports The Sun. Upon returning to Carrington, Sanchez is expected to be called to the club bosses for an explanation.
