Bayern Munich sports director Hasan Salihamidzic hinted that Franck Ribery would leave the club at the end of the current season.

The Frenchman’s contract with the club expires at the end of the current season and Bayern are unlikely to offer Franck a new agreement.

Hasan recalled the words of club president Uli Hoeness that it was Ribery’s last season and admitted that he had to agree with him. Apparently, Franck will leave the club in the summer.

Salihamidzic said that he spoke with Ribery and the Frenchman understood that that was a year of changes. Nevertheless, the midfielder continues to demonstrate an excellent game and he is one of the club’s key players right now.

In the current season, 35-year-old Ribery has played 18 matches for Bayern in all tournaments in which he scored two goals.
