In the future, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the President of the Board of Directors of Bayern, would like former Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso, who is currently coaching one of Real Madrid’s youth sides, to return to the club.

“I would like him to ever return to Bayern Munich. He will be a fantastic head coach. Xabi has inborn authority, speaks several languages, worked with many fantastic managers, he is an extraordinary person.

He always kept the ball well, gave fantastic assists , sometimes slowed down the game, sometimes accelerated it,” Kicker quotes Rummenigge.

At Bayern, the Spaniard won the German championship three times, became the winner of the League Cup once and the Super Cup of the country. He spent 66 matches for Munich, in which he scored five goals.
