Bayern Munich Chairman of the Board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge noted that Chelsea striker Callum Hudson-Odoi was the only transfer target of the Munich club in the winter transfer window.

Rummenigge admitted that Hasan Salihamidzic wanted to buy only Callum in January. He practically fell in love with the player and his professional qualities. All other stories about upcoming transfers were just rumors.

Though, the club doesn’t want to give up and it will deal with this task in the near future. After a couple of months, the situation will become clearer. Chelsea didn’t like that Bayern openly declared an interest in the player, but the club had to give a signal to the young player. There was no personal contact between the Munich club and the player as it is prohibited.

Hudson-Odoi is Chelsea Academy graduate. The player’s contract with the club is calculated until the summer of 2020.
