Karl Heinz-Rummenigge ruled out the departure of Mats Hummels in winter.

Bayern’s defender Mats Hummels is not in a good form and does not always fall into the starting line-up of the Bavarians. Also, there were rumors in the media that the 30-year-old defender could leave Munich during the nearest transfer window.

The chairman of Bayern, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said that Hummels would not leave the club at least until the end of the season.

“We had a conversation with Mats a few days ago. We agreed that he would play for Bayern in the second half of the season,” said the functionary after the victory over RB Leipzig (1:0).

Hummels has played 14 matches in all tournaments this season, in which he scored one goal and gave one assist.
