Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s sisters Katia and Elma Aveiro commented on the voting for the 2018 Ballon d’Or results.

The Golden Ball 2018 award ceremony took place yesterday, December 3. The prize for the best footballer in the world went to Real Madrid and Croatia national team midfielder Luka Modric, while Ronaldo, who achieved second place in the vote, didn’t even come to the ceremony.

After the end of the ceremony, Katia Aveiro posted a photo of Cristiano with the Golden Ball on her Instagram and below she wrote that everyone who understood football knew who was the world’s best player.

The Portuguese legend’s other sister, Elma Aveiro, wrote on her Instagram in a much tougher way. Elma writes that, unfortunately, the world in which we live is full of Mafia and rotten people with money. Nevertheless, Aveiro believes in justice and in the fact that God’s power will triumph in the long run. It will take time, but it is worth it.
