Rodgers advised Klopp how to win Premier League

Celtic head coach Brendan Rodgers warned Liverpool that Jurgen Klopp’s team should take control of their emotions if they were going to win the Premier League in that season.

It was under Rodgers’ lead in the 2013/14 season, when Liverpool were a real contender for the Premier League title for the last time. Then the Reds were leading in the table, but, after all, stumbled and let Manchester City pass them by.

Brendan is convinced that Klopp needs to teach his players to maintain peace of mind and not allow emotions to influence the quality of their game in order to win the title in the current season.

According to Rodgers it is very difficult to win the title with Liverpool. It is a great club with incredible fans, but they haven’t won the title for so long that emotions can prevent the team from achieving success.
