Rabiot can move to Premier League

Adrien Rabiot could move to Premier League after he stopped negotiations with his club about the new contract. Apparently, the midfielder doesn’t want to stay in Paris.

This event immediately forced Arsenal and Tottenham to activate. Both clubs have long been called among the fans of Adrien’s talent. Rabiot’s contract with PSG expires next summer, which means it will be possible to get him for free if clubs can reach an agreement with the player during this winter.

Unai Emery worked at PSG with Rabiot for two years until he left last summer. At the moment, Arsenal are in search of a central midfielder, since the Gunners may lose Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil by the summer. If the departure of the German is still in question, the Welshman will leave the team absolutely for sure.

In such a situation, the option with a free purchase of Rabiot can be ideal for Arsenal. The player and the managers know each other very well and maintain good relations, moreover there are a lot of  Frenchmen in the Gunners’ squad.

Nevertheless, it is not clear whether Rabiot will give his consent to the transfer to Arsenal already this winter when the club hasn’t yet solved its problems with entering the Champions League zone for the next year.
