Arsenal’s midfielder Matteo Guendouzi attracted the former club’s interest with an excellent game in his debut season in England.

When Matteo was 15 years old, the Parisians put him out the door from their academy. However, Guendouzi didn’t say goodbye to his dream of becoming a professional footballer.

After moving to Emirates from Lorient last summer, Guendouzi has become not just the first team member, but the team’s starting line-up player. Matteo is showing football of high level for his 19 years.

According to the Daily Express, PSG are considering their compatriot as a possible replacement for Adrien Rabiot, who will leave the Stade de France at the end of the season as a free agent.

Guendouzi cost Arsenal £7 million last summer. Now, PSG are ready to pay about £60 million for Matteo.

Naturally, Unai Emery doesn’t want to lose such a promising player. However, the Gunners’ head coach is very limited in finances, so Guendouzi’s sale will allow him to double his transfer budget for next summer.
