Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez had the opportunity to go to Paris Saint-Germain in January, Bild reported.

The Parisians wanted to buy the 30-year-old Spaniard, but the Bavarians decided to keep Martinez.

This season, Javi has played in 21 matches in all tournaments and scored one goal.

However, PSG bosses will try to take advantage of midfielder N’Golo Kante’s situation at Chelsea to acquire their compatriot in the coming summer.

As you know, Maurizio Sarri, who took over as the Pensioners’ mentor last summer, does not see Kante in the defensive midfielder position, where N’Golo became famous in England and in the world.
