PSG consider De Gea’s purchase

PSG will be ready to make an offer to purchase Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea if Gianluigi Buffon ends his playing career in the coming summer.

De Gea is approaching the final 12 months of his contract now, refusing to sign a new one, so this doesn’t leave the Red Devils any choice. If David doesn’t agree to link his future with United, he will be sold in the coming summer.

British media has been connecting David with a move to Real Madrid during the last weeks. However, The Independent expects that PSG will be the main contender for De Gea.

At the moment, the Parisians are awaiting 41-year-old Buffon’s decision, who can both end his playing career this month and delay his retirement for another season.

According to the publication, De Gea is already aware of PSG’s interest. The club from Parc des Princes made it clear that it was ready to meet David’s salary demands.

Juventus are called another contender for De Gea, but the Serie A champions may have to sell a number of stars to master David’s purchase.
