Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino says that his club ranks with Everton, West Ham and Leicester in terms of financial strength.

The Spurs have been participating regularly in the Champions League in recent seasons, but Pochettino continues to believe that Tottenham are able to compete with other Premier League’s Top-6 representatives only on the football field.

On the eve of Saturday’s departure to Leicester, Pochettino acknowledged that Tottenham didn’t have such finances as other favourites of the division, but money wasn’t the main thing.

Pochettino noticed that his club ranked with teams like West Ham, Leicester and Everton by financial terms. His team is still very far from the financial strength of such giants as Chelsea, City or United. Nevertheless, the Spurs continue to compete with them on the football field confidently.

Mauricio acknowledged that it wasn’t very easy to stay at such a high level for a long period of time. Nevertheless, Tottenham know what to do and at this stage, the main thing is to keep their leading performers in the team.
