Phil Jones concluded a new contract with United

Manchester United announced the signing of a new contract with central defender Phil Jones.

26-year-old Jones is one of the main old-timers of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, playing for the Red Devils since 2011. Phil won three big trophies with the club during this time.

Six months remained under the England national team player’s previous agreement, and instead of using their option to extend cooperation for 12 months, United signed a new long-term contract with Jones.

Thus, Phil has linked his future with the Devils until June of 2023. This deal also provides the option to extend the contract for additional year, as usual.
