Paco Alcacer’s goal after appearing on the field from the bench did not save Borussia Dortmund from the defeat by Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Nevertheless, that exact blow allowed the 25-year-old Spaniard to set a new Bundesliga record in the number of goals after the substitution for one season – 10.

Recall that Alcácer joined Borussia Dortmund from Barcelona on loan last summer, and the Bumblebees bought out the attacker’s contract a month ago.

The forward signed an agreement until the summer 2023, Barcelona received €23 million for Alcacer and bonuses of $5 million.

Paco scored 12 goals in 11 Bundesliga games in the 2018/19 season, while Borussia are leading in the tournament.
