P. Schmeichel: Leicester have no coach with whom players would play at their best
Former Manchester United goalkeeper and Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel father, Peter Schmeichel, expressed the opinion that the Foxes’ head coach Claude Puel wasn’t suitable for the team, and also shared his thoughts about the future of his son.
Peter considers Leicester to be a great club. They have good players, but there is no coach with whom they would show their maximum.
Schmeichel is sure that as soon as they deal with their problems, they will immediately find themselves in fifth or eighth place, where they should be.
As for his son Kasper – of course, he wants to challenge himself, like any other footballer. But Schmeichel doesn’t think that his son wants to go to continental Europe. He loves England and the Premier League too much. Peter said that in an interview with beIN Sports.
