Arsenal manager Unai Emery said that midfielder Mesut Ozil might miss Wednesday’s clash against Manchester United.

Recall, Ozil unexpectedly didn’t get into the Gunners’ application on Sunday’s North London derby against Tottenham. Arsenal called spasms in the back as the official reason for the absence of their highest-paid player.

At the same time, Emery, talking to the press after winning 4-2, said he didn’t know under what circumstances Ozil received his injury and whether Mesut was present at the Emirates’ stands.

The 30-year-old German was working separately from the first team on Monday, so Unai admitted that Ozil wouldn’t be able to play at Old Trafford the next day.

Meanwhile, the media is spreading rumors that Arsenal will bid farewell to Ozil already in January. Inter are called one of the main contenders for Mesut, who is earning £350 thousand a week.
