Lille winger Nicolas Pepe ruled out his move to Arsenal in the middle of the season.

Pepe scored 12 goals and gave five assists in 19 Ligue 1 matches of the current season. With his play, Nicolas attracted the interest of some big European clubs, including Arsenal, headed by the former PSG coach – Unai Emery.

However, the 23-year-old Ivorian has a long-term contract and is going to stay at Lille at least until the end of the season. The club president confirmed his words and promised that the player would not leave anywhere in January.

Pepe’s contract expires only in the summer of 2022. He would like to break through with the team in Euro cups for the following season and do everything that depends on him for this purpose.
