Neuer: I will play against Liverpool, I hope

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said that he hoped to take part in the Champions League 1\8 finals first leg against Liverpool.

Manuel admitted that everything was fine with him, it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. He is confident that the med team will help him. He also hopes that a good shape during training sessions will help him to get into the team’s starting line-up for the match against Liverpool. The team is positive about that.

Neuer says that it will be the first match at Enfield for him. He has heard a lot about the atmosphere at this wonderful stadium and is looking forward to meeting with Liverpool fans. Everyone who watches football knows that this is something special. Manuel is confident that the teams will be able to give fans two great games.

The Champions League is very important for Bayern, especially in the current season when the start in the Bundesliga was a failure. Neuer compared two matches against Liverpool with two Champions League finals in a row. It will be something special. The goalkeeper spoke about that in his interview with ESPN.

The match Liverpool – Bayern will take place on February 19. The return game will be held on March 13.
