The Spanish midfielder will move to Italy in the summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Italian club Napoli reached an agreement on a contract with Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals.

The 22-year-old player will finish the current season at Villarreal and move to Naples in the summer. According to rumors in the press, the Italian club paid about €25 million for Pablo.

Fornals should replace Napoli’s captain Marek Hamsik, who is close to moving to the Chinese Super League.

In the fall, Fornals refused to go to the English Premier League’s clubs, Fulham and West Ham, wanting to focus on helping Villarreal, who were experiencing great difficulties in the Spanish Championship. Villarreal are occupying 19th place in the LaLiga standings after 23rd round.
